This fun intermediate/advanced pink shirt day French reading includes two short stories about la Journée du Chandail Rose and the origin of the day. It is written in the past tense, with lots of imparfait and passé composé – a perfect way to review these verb tenses!

The first short story is about a class that is challenged to do more than just wear a pink shirt to observe the day – and they realize that their actions make a difference. The second short story is about a girl who uses her talents to recognize students for doing kind things for their fellow students. There is also a short reading about the students who began the tradition after a student at their high school was bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
