Work through the unit with circling and repetition and at the end of each unit, your students will be amazed at how much they can do with the language!
Here’s what you’ll get in each French comprehensible input unit:
- Daily PowerPoint lesson for you to present the material

TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID…
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Caitlin B. says “This resource is FULL of activities that you can use in sequence or pull separately. I have been slowly moving my classroom over to CI methods and these topics are similar to what I am teaching so they are easy to use and help me get used to CI at my own pace.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Comprehensible Textbook says “This was my first unit purchase from the Frenchified store and I am in love with it!! This gave me all the tools I needed to teach the imparfait in a way that focused much more on CI (speaking, listening, writing and reading the language) instead of just grammar drills and worksheets. I will say that it took a little bit to make the resources my own to fit my classroom, but that is probably a best practice for any resource you get from TPT. I look forward to using your units from now on!!!”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rebeccah S. says “These CI Units are truly a lifesaver (especially when I am trying to plan for in person and online learning at the same time)! Excellent price for the material that you receive. Can’t wait for more French II Units to be published! Merci beaucoup!”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mlle D says “Once again, another fantastic resource. As a teacher just beginning my CI journey, these unit were really helpful to get me started. There is a variety of activities, and the stories are well structured to help facilitate student comprehension.”

Reviews
I’ve taught with TPR for years, but hadn’t gone full CI due in part to the amount of prep. I was just completely overwhelmed when I looked at other CI curriculums. How thrilled I was to discover Frenchified. So streamlined and much more “do-able!” Everything is ready in this curriculum (visuals, practice activities and assessments). I especially love how major grammar topics and culture are both embedded within the presentations. The only thing I would ask is to add Google Slides as an option in lieu of the Power Points. Thank you so much for sharing all of your work with us!

I had previously bought Units 1 – 4 and found they worked very well with my transition from my more traditional teaching methods to CI / ADI. I’m looking forward to using these units!!
— Caroline Bucky
This resource worked very well with my students!!!
— Mme Neveux et Moi
I absolutely love this product!! My students are understanding the material better and I like how it is more organic learning compared to straight memorization.
— Ashley R.
I used this for distance learning for my students. A lot of them preferred to print it off because they didn’t have a good way to edit documents. I did need to add some slides or underline/bold things during the lesson to better point out things for French 1 students. I love this CI curriculum but some of the unit story activities were repetitive and would have preferred a variety of activities between units. Some of these last unit stories were also a little hard for my French 1 students to understand well because of distance learning.
— The Interactive Language Classroom
Loved it. Had good examples with lots of repetition for the students.
— Erin G.
It has been so nice to have these units. They are great for those of us who love CI, but who must also align with a textbook-using department.
— Nikki M.
I am really enjoying using these materials in my quest to teach using more CI techniques while still having to rely on a textbook. I am hoping that Level 2 5-8 are bundled soon.
— Amy M.
I love these lessons. I initially just purchased the first unit to try it out, and with this tpt bonus sale, just went ahead and purchased both French 1 bundles for the rest of the year. Can’t wait to use them 🙂

This is a very easy way to start using more Comprehensible Input in my classroom. The students are engaged and they are feeling more and more confident to use the language. I really appreciate all of the time and effort that went in to creating this resource. Thank you!

Thank you for this second half! It pairs so well with what I have to teach with lots of cultural pieces and activities that even with this past school year being what it was, I was still able to enjoy what I was teaching.
— Caitlin M.
Great resources for those wanting to explore CI. I found them to be well structured and easy to follow. It helped to build student confidence since they were able to more easily understand the vocabulary.

At some points it was confusing to use PowerPoint and PDF. I wish the PDF was imbedded in the PowerPoint. Or the pages matched somehow.
— Iman Gabriel
Thank you!

We used this last year in conjunction with the Nous Sommes units. My students that take honors always want to know the mechanics, and this resource allows for pop-up grammar. It also follows basic outlines for the textbook we (are supposed to ) use.
— Terri Kemp
The plans were easy to follow and adapt to suit our needs. My students really like the stories in each unit.

I love these! Even if I don’t use/do everything in every unit, it’s great to help me be more comprehensible in my teaching. My students love the stories and the fact that they are understanding!
