If you’ve tried some of my digital grammar and vocabulary practice games but also wanted to make your own games with specific vocabulary or grammar, these digital practice game templates with French themes might be just what you need.
Each digital practice game template is a PowerPoint slideshow with a French theme – macarons, baguettes, croissants, the Eiffel Tower and more. Each game has 33 slides set up for you to add your own questions and multiple-choice answers. You can remove sections if you don’t want to use all 33. The games are self-correcting, and as students move through the game they will either go on to the next slide (if they get the question correct) or be sent back to the previous section (if they get it wrong).
The templates are easy to set up for your games – just add a question to each slide and set up the four answer boxes with your choice of multiple-choice answers. You can also replace the text questions with images. Each template can be used over and over again to make a variety of different games.
Once you’ve made your game, you can share it with your students in three different ways – either as a PowerPoint show file, a Google slides presentation, or a clickable pdf file. They are very easy to use and fun to play. The templates come with complete instructions to help you make your game.
I’ve seen many game templates, but very few have a French theme. There are 8 available themes so far, available individually or in a bundle. I plan to add more as I have time and inspiration – and if you have ideas for themes you would like to see, just let me know!
