There are so many events coming up that will be fun to bring into our French classrooms in February and March – Carnaval in Québec, Valentine’s Day, Black History Month, Mardi Gras. And don’t forget Manie Musicale – voting starts in March, but February is the perfect time to start viewing the music videos so students can make their brackets. The games in Beijing will be starting soon as well, there will be athletes from around the francophone world for you to discuss and follow.
I’ve rounded up some of the lessons from Frenchified and some of my colleagues on TPT to help you find things that might help you in planning for the shortest month of the year. Winter/Carnaval ideas

This game will allow your students to practice French Valentine’s Day vocabulary words – 30 different vocabulary items with multiple-choice responses.
