This Terry Fox French reading comprehension activity is about the life and accomplishments of Canadian hero who began a run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. With three different reading levels – novice high, intermediate low and intermediate mid, your beginning French students will be able to read it just as easily as your intermediate and advanced French students!
Each reading includes a glossary of words that may be unfamiliar to your students. The novice high reading is one page long, the intermediate low is two pages long and intermediate mid reading is four pages long. It also includes a Google Slides version of the readings and questions – print or use the electronic version, whatever works for you!
After the reading, there are three different options for comprehension questions. One has 5 short-answer questions in English with all answers available in the Novice High version of the reading. One has 10 multiple choice questions in English, and the third is 10 multiple choice questions in French.
An answer key is included as well as a list of links to articles, websites and videos to do extension activities with your students.
