This game is to accompany French Extra episode 1.

Your students will love and hate the It’s not fair Game! After watching extra in French episode 1, open the gameboard and let students pick questions. If they answer correctly, they can keep the points or pass them to another team – but they won’t know how many points they’ve “won” until they make their decision.

This item contains instructions for the game and two PowerPoint game boards – one in English, one in French. The boards are fully editable, so adjust the questions and point values as needed for your classes.

The Unfair Game is a lot of fun for students – they will need to pay attention to extra in French episode 1 to be able to answer the questions.  You can choose to do the questions in English or French.  Once they’ve answered, it’s up to them whether to keep the points of not.  But be careful! The points for some questions are negative. If they keep the points and it ends up being worth negative points, they will definitely think it’s unfair.
