French direct and indirect object pronouns can be tricky – students may have trouble determining what a direct or an indirect object is, or how to choose what pronoun to use, or where it goes in the sentence. This game will help them to practice and master the concept, but in a fun and exciting way.
Your students will love and hate the It’s not fair Game! Students will pick questions from the game board. Each question has a sentence with a direct object and/or and indirect object that can be replaced by a pronoun – le, la, les, l’, lui or leur. Some questions have only one pronoun, others have both a direct and indirect object. If they answer correctly, they can keep the points or pass them to another team – but they won’t know how many points they’ve “won” until they make their decision.
This French Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns Unfair Game contains instructions for the game and a Powerpoint game board. The boards are fully editable, so adjust the questions and point values as needed for your classes.
