Are you looking for a fun French reading comprehension activity for the fall season? This Guerre du Pumpkin Spice Latte French short story is a great way to practice interpretive reading while enjoying the holiday season. It has three different versions, so you can use it with multiple levels.
One version is in the present tense. One version of the story is in the past tense, with lots of instances of the passé composé and imparfait – so it’s the perfect chance to review for your more advanced students, or get a little more practice for your students who are learning the past tense. The third version is in the past, but with the passé simple instead of the passé composé for your more advanced students.
