Pandas French reading comprehension activity

This intermediate Pandas French reading comprehension activity will teach your students about the giant panda and the issues challenging it.  It is suitable for novice-high/intermediate-low students with teacher guidance and higher level students to work independently.  If you teach AP French, this reading can be useful in giving your students practice reading non-fiction articles for the interpretive section of the test.  The reading can lead to discussion or writing activities to include the other two modes of communication.

The giant panda is a beloved and easily recognized animal, but it faces some challenges. It is an endangered species and efforts have been made to protect it – but is it really the best idea to spend so much effort to save an animal that doesn’t seem to want to save itself?
