This differentiated French reading comprehension activity will teach your students about the fire and subsequent reconstruction of the Notre Dame reconstruction project in Paris.

This French reading activity includes three versions of a four-page article in French with glossary of less-common words. There is a novice high, intermediate mid and intermediate high version of the reading – so you can use it with multiple levels of your classes or as a challenge activity for those students who are ready to move up! After reading the article independently or together, the comprehension questions in French and English will allow them to show you that they’ve understood. The reading includes a glossary at the bottom of each page.

There are also 9 extension questions for students to do as an extra challenge. Three are fairly quick and easy, three are more moderate and three are challenging – perfect for your fast finished!
