Your students will enjoy practicing French 2 review game for semester 1 in this gingerbread man game!  As they complete the tasks, they will gather the objects needed to decorate a gingerbread man.  The game is self-grading and students will need to get all of the answers correct in order to move on.

There are 5 different challenges in the French 2 review game.  The tasks will have students using different skills to practice the topics and vocabulary commonly taught in the first semester of a level 2 French course. Each task will help the student gather an item to decorate the gingerbread man.

Task 1: Listen to the audio about what people did and select the correct image of people doing the activities.

Task 2: Read the information about where the people went and what they did and match the images

Task 3: Match the French verb to the English translation – Vandertramp verbs

Task 4: Play “memory” to match the French sentences with the image of the holiday

Task 5: Place the verbs in the correct position to complete the paragraph – includes passé compoé with both avoir and être.

At the end of the game, the students will have 5 different objects.  They will use the objects to decroate the gingerbread man.  After they complete the snowman, they will see a screen of a cup of hot chocolate and a congratulations note. As the game does not track student data, you will want them to take a screenshot as proof of completion.
