This Mezcaliente French movie talk is a fun way to give your students comprehensible input.

Two men enter a bar in the middle of nowhere. The bartender is a beautiful young lady with a secret. Which man will win the battle for her affection – or is she going to surprise them?

This item includes a pre and post viewing activity worksheet for students, a teacher instruction page, a story script and an answer key as well as a link to the video. There is also a link to textivate activities for the story script – students can do the activities with the link, but if you want to track their scores you would need a paid textivate account.

This is easily suitable for level 1 or 2 French students, and could be adapted to more advanced levels by adding/removing some of the details in the story. The target vocabulary is:
