French Pink Shirt Day game to practice vocabulary and skills kindness, bullying

Your students will enjoy learning about Pink Shirt day and using their French skills in this French Pink Shirt day game!  As they complete the tasks, they will collect pink shirts to prepare for the day.  The game is self-grading and students will need to get all of the answers correct in order to move on.

There are 5 different challenges.  The tasks will have students using different skills to practice the topics and vocabulary associated with kindness and bullying, as well as the history behind pink shirt day. Each task will help the student gather virtual tee shirts to prepare for the celebration.

These are the tasks in the French pink shirt day game:

Task 1: Listen to the audio about different types of bullying and find the associated image

Task 2: Read the information about the history of La Journée du chandail rose and match the images

Task 3: Fill in the missing words to complete a story about kindness at a school

Task 4: Play “memory” to match the descriptions of people doing kind acts and match it to the image

Task 5: Match the French vocabulary word to the English

At the end of the game, the students will have 5 different shirts.  They will uput the shirts in a box to take them to the “event”.  After they put the shirts in the box, they will see a screen of a special shirt design and a congratulations note. As the game does not track student data, you will want them to take a screenshot as proof of completion.
