Here’s what you’ll get in each Beginning French Comprehensible Input unit:

• Daily PowerPoint lesson for you to present the material
• A student dictionary handout page
• Word wall printable posters
• Daily bell work activities
• Practice handouts to give your students practice in using the language
• A unit story based on the vocabulary of the previous lessons
• Cloze activities to accompany the unit story
• Running dictation game to accompany the unit story
• Animated video of the story
• Short assessments for the unit: reading, listening, presentational speaking, interpersonal communication and presentational writing
• Unfair game – both in English and French versions to review the unit story

Your students will pick up the language as they work through the unit.  With a combination of the daily powerpoint to allow for circling and repetition and the activities to give students using the language in a real-life way, you will be amazed at how much they can do by the end of the unit!  Each unit has a full set of lesson plans that will take you through everything students need to know in order to read the unit story at the end.

TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sara L. says “I’ve been wanting to take the CI plunge and this resource did it for me! I experimented with 7th graders who have French for only 9 weeks and my level I 8th graders. I wasn’t sure how the 7th graders would react but they LOVED it! I followed the resource almost exactly although I did need to spread the days out a bit. I was amazed at what students could DO at the conclusion of the unit. This did it for me, I have purchased the following units from Frenchified and am now a fan of CI! “

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mme CC says “This resource is quite the gem. It has everything you need. I love the amount of prepared comprehensible input we have! My district textbook claims to be CI based, but there isn’t nearly enough input provided. As a busy teacher, I needed something with input and output tasks ready to go and this has it all! Thank you so much! I look forward to using the other units!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hannah H says “I liked all the repetition, and I purchased another of these packs. My students like the pictures, and recognized most of the famous people used in the PowerPoint. I love how the PowerPoint was in Word, I was able to turn it into google slides (we use Schoology, and it takes Google Docs) with no problem. Great resource!  It also comes with worksheets and some graphic organizers. Love all those things. “

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️  Mlle D says “Another fantastic resource that proved to be versatile and well worth the money. It was so easy to pick and choose activities to include during distance learning. I love the consistency with your units and how well laid out and organized they are. “
