CI unit for French - levels 1 and 2

Beginning and Intermediate French comprehensible input units

Each CI unit includes a daily lesson plan, bellwork, daily PowerPoint, activities for students to practice what they’ve learned, and more! Everything is aligned to give your students comprehensible input and repetitions so that they can use French in a useful way. The topics are aligned with what you will find in most level 1 and level 2 French textbooks – so whatever textbook you use, it will likely be covered in these units. At the end of each CI unit, there are two culminating activities. One is the unit story – a complete story built on the vocabulary and structures of the preceding unit. These aren’t simple boring stories – each story has a complete plot that your students will enjoy reading. You will find a pdf of the story for your students to read, comprehension and retell activities, and an animated video of the story that you can use for storyasking with lots of circling and pauses.

When you finish the CI unit, there are tests for all of the different modes of communication – listening, speaking, reading and writing.

I liked all the repetition, and I purchased another of these packs. My students like the pictures and recognized most of the famous people used in the PowerPoint. I live how the PowerPoint was in Word, I was able to turn it into google slides (we use Schoology, and it takes Google Docs) with no problem. Great resource! It also comes with worksheets and some graphic organizers. Love all those things.
