French reading comprehension Amaury Guichon – differentiated reading

This French reading comprehension activity will teach your students about the famous pastry chef and chocolatier Amaury Guichon. He’s a huge hit on social media and the star of a series on Netflix. Your students will love learning about how he became one of the hottest names on TikTok!

This French reading activity includes three versions of a one to two-page article in French with glossary of less-common words. There is a novice, intermediate and advanced version of the reading – so you can use it with multiple levels of your classes or as a challenge activity for those students who are ready to move up! After reading the article independently or together, the comprehension questions in French and English will allow them to show you that they’ve understood. The reading includes a glossary at the bottom of each page.
