French passé composé être digital escape game Retour au Passé for Boom cards

This digital escape game will allow your students to practice forming the French passé composé with être in a fun way. Students will complete 5 tasks that start out with the simplest questions and move towards more difficult tasks. As they complete each task, the self-grading game will give them a number to unlock the code as the final task.

• Task 1 has students choosing which verbs use avoir and which ones use être in the passé composé
• Task 2 has students finding the correct helping verb to complete a sentence
• Task 3 has students selecting which is the correct form of the past participle
• Task 4 has students choosing which sentence is written correctly to match an image
• Task 5 has students conjugating verbs in the passé composé to complete a paragraph

As each task is completed, students will receive a relic from the past. At the end of the game, they will use the relics to travel back in time to find their missing colleague.
