This Frankie le Vampire French reading comprehension activity for Boom cards is a great lesson plan for sub days, FVR, or just a fun story to read. Frankie is a vampire, but he’s not a very good one – he has a hard time dealing with the lifestyle!
The story comes in two different versions and includes comprehension activites. You control which cards the students are assigned, so you can use it for differentiation or two different levels of French.
- Slides 1-8 tell the story with audio in the present tense.
- Slides 9-16 tell the story with audio in the past tense (imparfait and passé composé).
- Slides 17-20 include information about different types of vampires.
- Slides 21-27 are multiple choice comprehension questions in French.
- Slides 28-34 are the same questions in English.
