This fun intermediate level French reading comprehension activity is a short story about a boy who has broccoli hair – not just the cut, but his hair is made of broccoli!
The story is written in the past tense, in two different versions. In the intermediate low version, you will see the passé composé and imparfait. In the intermediate mid version, you will see the passé simple and imparfait. After you finish the readings, there are comprehension questions and a story retell/rewrite activity. The readings are in printable pdf form as well as a PowerPoint version of each reading – read together as a class or assign for individual reading.
