Today is very much a sit around and chill day – we have one more week in Nice before we leave for Paris, then head on to Confolens. We went to the gym and the store then came home for the rest of the day. We had a video chat with our next petsit so I need to start making plans for our travel to that. But you’ll have to check in for the big reveal of where we’re going after Confolens!
Wehn we woke up this morning, we had a cool show outside our window. There’s a rather large French naval ship doing passes in front of Nice. It was going back and forth for over an hour. I’ve been told that it’s the Charles de Gaulle, but I’m not sure if that’s correct.
As we were waiting for the bus on the way home from the gym we got to watch a bit of work being done on one of the buildings. And a bunch more of these Santas hanging from the balconies, they seem to be a popular holiday decoration.
