This Mr Indifferent French movie talk is a fun way to give your students comprehensible input.
Mr. Indifferent isn’t a villain – he’s just indifferent. Whether it’s ignoring the woman trying to catch an elevator or stepping out of the way of a shopping cart rolling down the sidewalk, he just can’t be bothered – until an old lady forces him to take notice of the others around him. What causes him to change his ways, and how can he teach us about the value of kindness? Find out in this movie talk for French learners.
This item includes a pre and post viewing activity worksheet for students, a teacher instruction page, a story script and an answer key as well as a link to the video. Also includes a link to a Textivate activity and printable gap fill and jumbled sentence activity.
This is easily suitable for level 2 French students, and could be adapted to more advanced levels by adding/removing some of the details in the story. The target vocabulary is:
ne l’aide pas
perd
marche
