After our big excursion to Italy yesterday, today was more of a chill day. We went to the gym and grocery store and stopped at the bakery right next to the gym. It was probably one of the freshest baguettes we’ve had so far, and cheaper than the other places – so we’ll definitely be back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning was the first time since we’ve been here that I’ve had a tartine and pain au chocolat for breakfast! I even found my favorite jam, reines-claudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leaves are falling off of the trees as winter approaches – it’s not that cold yet, but the wind has been blowing things off of the trees and onto the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nice is hilly and full of apartment buildings – but there are little patches of single-family homes here and there. We have a neighbor house that is completely surrounded by taller buildings – I wonder what it was like when they built their home? Did they build knowing that the view was going to disappear, or did they build after the apartment buildings were finished?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
